Representative Projects
United Stated Environmental Protection Agency - Assisted in the collection
and implementation of surface water quality data from state and government
agencies. Tasks included collection of surface water quality data from the State
and USEPA along with other state agencies. The data was first formatted and
then imported into a Microsoft Access database where each of the unique
samples were categorized by the Waterbody where a sample was collected, then
by the sample's Station Id (location of sampling location in each
waterbody), then by Sample ID and finally for each constituent analyzed in a
sample (I.E. turbidity, Turbidity, Nitrates, Organic Carbon, Phytoplankton
etc.). Once imported, various statistical analysis can be performed on the
newly acquired data within ESRI ArcView, such as percentiles or standard deviation
to allow the USEPA to determine a set of guidelines for Surface water quality criteria.
Brick Township Municipal Utilities Authority, Brick, NJ - Created design
drawing for a 1 billion gallon potable water storage reservoir located near
the Metedeconk River. Work included the design of 42" water outlet
structure along with a down gradient valve chamber. Additional design was
closely coordinated with project engineers to develop the water inlet
structure and proposed reservoir embankments.
Bristol-Myers Squibb, Hopewell, NJ - Assisted in the design of a Waste Water
treatment facility. Tasks included working with engineers to develop
structural plans and details along with equipment layout and piping design.
Oversaw the feasibility of all piping layout.
Public Service Electric and Gas Company - Assisted Engineers and Geologists
to create a set of drawings used for repermitting of the Salem and Hope
Creek Nuclear Generating Stations for the feasibility of reclamating diked
areas back into slat water marshes. Tasks included creating groundwater
contour maps based on various tidal conditions.
Lockheed Martin Corporation, New York - Worked with engineers to design a
groundwater remediation system. Project included the creation of structural,
mechanical and electrical drawings of an above ground equipment facility and
clearwell.
